DISAMATIC C5 is here. Ultra-reliable, medium-format DISA molding line launches in China

DISA has launched the DISAMATIC C5 vertical, green-sand moulding line. Designed in Denmark and manufactured in China, the new medium-format C5 is built for maximum uptime and productivity at an affordable price point.
Able to produce 400 uncored and 340 cored moulds per hour, the DISAMATIC C5’s high output, increased yields, and low total cost of ownership give foundries full return on their investment in as little as a year after purchase.
“Ambitious Chinese foundries can now upgrade to a premium 800 x 600 moulding line that will take their business to the next level of success,” says Lars Hjelm, Global Product Manager at DISA “The cost-optimized DISAMATIC C5 is even faster and requires even less maintenance than our popular DISAMATIC C3 . It’s an exceptional combination of affordability and high-end DISA quality that delivers growth and rapid ROI.”
Bigger, faster, more profit: make your next line a DISA
A direct‑fit replacement for older 800 × 600 machines and able to use their pattern plates, the compact DISAMATIC C5 can be installed quickly and easily by the local DISA team. New C5 owners also become members of DISA’s industry-leading aftermarket network, with its expert local technicians and rapid spare parts support.
Digital-ready with a pre-installed NoriGate, the C5 can be further enhanced by adding accessories like an Automatic Coresetter (CSE) or a Quick Pattern Change (QPC) unit.
“This is a whole new machine, designed from scratch for maximum performance and engineered afresh for minimum cost. No other medium-format moulding machine combines this level of reliability with high speed and low price,” says Lars. “We have Chinese customers where a single DISA line produces more molds than two competitor machines combined. If you want to work 24/7 and produce millions of molds every year, make your next line a DISAMATIC C5. It really pays to join the DISA family.”
The first DISAMATIC C5, a prototype, is already pledged to a Chinese customer: Niusu Science & Technology Co’s greenfield foundry project.
