Project & Service Coordinator
What is your role at DISA?
In my role as Project & Service Coordinator I ensure that all our competent service technicians arrive on customer site on time in all parts of the world. I collaborate closely with my skilled colleagues in Support Moulding and Project Management and together we plan and coordinate installations and service visits. I make sure all administrative aspects are handled prior and post service, all with the goal of ensuring good and effective customer service!
For how long have you worked at DISA?
I have worked in DISA since March 2024. Before that I have worked many years in the hotel- and restaurant industry, so starting work at DISA has been a completely new world for me. It has been a steep learning curve to learn about machinery, but I’m hooked on learning more!
Can you share a fun or interesting fact about yourself?
I love learning languages and to meet new people from different cultures. That why I decided to travel and learn Spanish. Today I speak it fluently, and my next goal is to learn Portuguese!
If you could have any superpower to help you at work, what would it be?
An internal map of all our customers sites and how to get there in the most time sufficient and price friendly way! Maybe one day I know where all our customers are located?
What 3 words would you use to describe DISA?
Passion, Service, Innovation.
What sets DISA apart from other workplaces you've experienced?
DISA has seen where my passion and experience within service management can be used in the best way! Since my day one I have been taken good care of by colleagues and management, feeling welcome and given tasks that fits my qualifications and competencies.
What is the best part about your current role or the tasks/projects you're currently working on?
The best part of my role is being in close contact with customers and stakeholders to ensure the services are planned efficiently so that the service technicians have the best measures to be effective on site. I enjoy working with the people who really are the face of DISA – which I believe our service technicians are!
If you were at the airport right now, what country would you travel to?
It would probably be an exotic beach in Costa Rica or somewhere with cultural richness in South America like Columbia or Peru!
What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on ensuring all data in our CRM is correct and updated, so information about our customers is correct and reliable. Learning and working on how we can optimize our daily tasks using AI is crucial to drive transformation and this will be an ongoing project for the years to come!
I am starting a “Coordinator” education this year, from February to May, hopefully with the outcome of bringing the service coordination to the next level!
