Aftermarket Sales Support
What is your role at DISA?
I have a combined role within DISA and Norican.
At DISA, I work within Aftermarket Sales Support as a Pricing Analyst, where I focus on setting spare parts pricing, analysing customer development, and supporting initiatives that help optimise pricing strategies and strengthen market share.
Alongside this, I work across Norican with Business Intelligence. I manage and develop Power BI reporting across all brands and multiple departments, while also contributing to various projects, budgeting activities, and cross-organizational initiatives.
A key focus in my work is optimisation and automation — reducing manual processes and saving time across the organisation. Most importantly, I aim to provide clear and actionable insights that support strategic and commercial decision-making.
For how long have you worked at DISA?
I joined DISA/Norican in February 2023. Prior to this, I worked with pricing in the medical equipment industry.
Changing industries has been very exciting, as manufacturing is constantly evolving. It has been particularly interesting to see how relatively small improvements in processes or components can significantly reduce waste and environmental impact.
Can you share a fun or interesting fact about yourself?
I am passionate about hiking. Whenever possible, I travel to explore new hiking routes, often covering 40–50 km per day. My greatest achievement so far is completing 100 km in 23 hours. I usually hike with my girlfriend, friends, or family — and occasionally on my own.
If you could have any superpower to help you at work, what would it be?
The ability to instantly map and unify all data processes across the organisation. With many offices, systems, and users worldwide, creating fully aligned data structures can be complex — so that would definitely be a powerful advantage.
What 3 words would you use to describe DISA?
Innovative, Reliable, Forward-thinking
What sets DISA apart from other workplaces you've experienced?
DISA has been very good at recognising where my skills and interests can create the most value.
What I value most is the openness to new ideas. I am encouraged to explore improvements and test new approaches, which means I continue learning every day. The organisation operates with a high level of trust and flexibility, without micromanagement, allowing people to take ownership of their work.
I also appreciate the collaborative culture — colleagues are supportive, approachable, and highly competent. I enjoy being challenged, and at DISA I regularly encounter new tasks and problems that require creative thinking.
What is the best part about your current role or the tasks/projects you're currently working on?
One of the best aspects of my role is collaborating with colleagues across the world who share a strong passion for what they do.
I particularly enjoy creating solutions that make everyday work easier for others. Seeing colleagues adopt a new report, process, or tool and hearing how it simplifies their work is highly motivating and drives me to continue improving and innovating.
If you were at the airport right now, what country would you travel to?
Australia! I have wanted to take a long road trip around Australia for many years. Experiencing the country’s nature and culture while driving around the continent would be a dream trip.
What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently doing a major initiative to upgrade Power BI reporting to a new unified data source, migrating a large number of reports into this setup. The goal is to make all relevant data accessible directly in Power BI and significantly reduce reliance on Excel.
In addition, I am involved in several smaller initiatives related to AI, automation, and process optimization — Power BI & Pricing remain my primary focus.
