A safer investment for long-term success - RBA Ferro upgrades to DISAMATIC 280
In June, RBA Ferro received the first DISA 280 ever delivered in India, which started its first production in July 2024
This large vertical moulding machine produces moulds of 1050 x 1200 mm, which will be used to produce castings like manhole covers and engine blocks, among other castings.
“We decided to replace our existing vertical moulding machine, purchased only three years ago, due to its poor performance and quality. This machine has now been scrapped, and despite its low purchase price, it ended up being very expensive to operate and maintain,” says Harshvardhan Agarwal, owner of RBA Ferro owner.
“After many years of horizontal production on DISA ARPA machines, we had long desired to optimize our production and access new markets by introducing a big vertical moulding line.
