Reducing energy consumption
DISA has developed a unique Streamlined Gating System which helps reduce the overall energy costs in foundries while ensuring a high level of consistency in the mold filling process. By changing from a conventional gating system to a DISA Streamlined Gating System it is possible to reduce the weight of the gating system and thereby reduce the amount of metal used in every mold leading to a reduction in the melting capacity needed for a given production.
