DISA India Limited presents “The Complete Foundry” at IFEX 2012
Launches DISA MATCH 20/24 and MB 500 Metal Belt tumblast machine for the first time in India
DISA India and Wheelabrator announced during IFEX 2012 the launch of two high-end and completely localised machines - DISA MATCH 20/24, horizontal flaskless moulding machine and MB 500 Metal Belt tumblast machine.
Following the theme The Complete Foundry, DISA also displayed the SATURN heavy duty blast wheel, the SAM-3 Mixer & the DISA Filter along with the state-of-the-art technology which is being showcased in India for the first time in DISA’s exhibition history.
Based on 45 years of experience, and more than 1,500 delivered moulding lines, DISA launched the Horizontal Flaskless Matchplate moulding machine DISA MATCH 20/24 and announced that with this all types of high pressure moulding technology – Horizontal Flask lines, Vertical Flaskless & Horizontal Flaskless machines are now produced at DISA India.
DISA MATCH 20/24 is designed and manufactured to deliver high capacity of 160 un-cored moulds/hour, it is more precise with maximum machine related mismatch guarantee of 0.15 mm, the Automatic Core Setter (CSE) ensures repeatable & automatic core setting, the Quick Match Plate Changer (QMC) enables easy & fast pattern change, high uptime - local availability of parts and service and lower capital investment cost as the product is available for sale in rupees in India.
The other highlight of the event is the launch of the MB 500 metal belt tumblast machine, showcased in India for the first time at IFEX 2012. This new range of metal belt tumblast machines will complement the existing BB rubber belt tumblast machines, giving the fullest range of products in the marketplace from 25 dm3 to 2.5 m3 machines which run today in the US.
The MB500 is the perfect foundry machine for running alongside a DISA MATCH moulding line. It provides the correct volume solution for processing parts from the DISAMATCH. Added to this, the loading and unloading techniques used in the MB range are superior to those offered by competitors as it facilitates full mechanisation of the handling and almost man-less operation.

It is ideally suited for Foundry environment and is matched in terms of capacity with the DISA MATCH 20/24 machine. This machine is from the Wheelabrator operations in Metelen, Germany and has been specifically selected to suit the Indian market requirements”, added Mr. Naidu.
Apart from the launch machines the company also displayed the sand plant equipment /machines, dust extraction system and a completely new and localised wheel made specially to improve the shot blast machine’s performance.
