MANIPULATOR SHOT BLAST SYSTEMS – VERSATILE, EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE

The concept of manipulator shot blast systems comprises different basic versions in modular design. The demands on capacity and space available can thus be taken into account for maximum effect. The systems can be combined with nozzle blast stations and integrated into automatic fettling lines.

Manipulators with uniaxial or biaxial grippers pick up parts and transport them through the shot blast system. The grippers adjust automatically to the shape of the workpieces so that they can accommodate individual or several workpieces. A loading device or an industrial robot places the workpieces into the manipulator where they are clamped. Fully automatic systems are equipped with workpiece scanning systems to control blast parameters (blast time, movement of the parts under the blast stream, number of wheels activated, abrasive removal time.

Manipulator shot blast systems stand out for their high performance and excellent cleaning effect: Even interior areas which are difficult to access are properly cleaned without accumulation of abrasive.
