NEW GENERATION BENEFITS

The DISA New Generation moulding system has been developed to set new standards for foundry equipment. The market demands high quality castings, competitive prices and more and more complex shapes. Based on these requirements DISA has made a completely new design for the mechanical and hydraulic system, including control of the whole process.

Main features of the system are:

Excellent accuracy
Thanks to the improved mechanical design, we guarantee our customers moulds with a machine-dependent mismatch of only 0.15 mm (0.20 mm for the DISA 280) or less. The need for machining is reduced to an absolute minimum - or even eliminated.

Optimised mouldability
With the New Generation, we have clearly improved the sand filling process to obtain high mouldability and the best possible utilisation of pattern plate area. The two pattern plates can now be positioned individually in the chamber - and, as another new feature, double-squeeze operation is standard. As an option, we offer vacuum assisted sand filling.

Improved production capacity
An advanced PLC program optimises all functions and movements of the mechanical and hydraulic system, thus securing our customers a highly flexible production capacity with up to 510 moulds/hour.

Unbeatable uptime
Reliability and uptime are two of the essentials of the New Generation. The user-friendly design and high functionality provide optimum conditions for service and maintenance, and of course, uptime. Add to this that critical components are interchangeable with a very short notice and that loads on bearings and moving parts have been significantly reduced to extend lifetime and maintenance intervals. The sum is obvious - an unbeatable level of uptime ranking second to none.
