DISA introduces our new curved face AMC thrust bar roller assemblies for 2013/230 machines

We have answered our customer’s requests to develop an AMC thrust bar roller assembly with a curved rolling surface. The purpose of the curved roller surface is to reduce the grooving into the thrust bar caused by the flat face of the standard roller. At this point we have available two assemblies, part number 2042Z0540 for the “A” size AMC and 2042Z0530 for the “B” size AMC for 2013 machines with serial numbers through 2925.

Assemblies for 2013 machines with serial numbers 2926 and above, and for all 230 machines are currently in development.

Also available is the roller shell only, part number 2042A3950, shown on the right in the picture above. This curved face roller shell can be used as a direct replacement for the flat faced roller shell 2023C5832 currently used on all machines. Please note if new 6 meter AMC rails with DISA cap strips have been installed, they came with a newer style roller assembly. We do not yet have a curved face roller assembly to replace these but the roller shell can be replaced with 2042A3950.

We currently have only a limited supply of both assemblies and the roller shells in stock, so please be sure to plan ahead for your anticipated needs. We will build the inventory as usage increases. Please contact the DISA Spare Parts Department with any questions.
