DISA turns up the heat on your sand sticking problems!

Shown above is a standard AMC clamp with heating elements
and thermostat control.  Kits are designed so the customer
can modify existing their existing AMC clamps.

DISA has developed an electric heating system for the 2013 / 230 AMC that should solve your problem with sand sticking to the AMC clamps. The kits are designed so the customer can modify their existing AMC clamps. The basic kit, 2442R0460, consists of all parts necessary to retrofit a total of six standard cast iron thrust bars, plus all wiring, junction boxes, thermostatic controls, control panel, etc. The customer needs only furnish power supply to the control panel.

All electrical controls for the AMC clamp heaters are included
in this control panel located near the AMC.

The kits for the R.H. and L.H. inlet clamps are 2442R0490 and 2442R0500 respectively. There are also kits available to extend the number of heated AMC clamps, up to and including the two meter steel clamps in the drive section.
