2110 AMC Hardened Stainless Steel Capping Strips Now Available

DISA has developed a kit that allows the 2110 owner to add hardened stainless steel capping strips to their existing 12 meter AMC. These are the same patented caps as used on the 2013 and now come standard on the 230 machines.

The capping strips are made from hardened stainless steel which protects the base AMC rail and gives long service life. The patented attachment method allows the capping strips to be removed/installed very quickly from above the AMC with simple hand tools.

The kit has part number 2112R0200 and includes all capping strips, mounting blocks, mounting screws, as well as a welding fixture. The welding fixture is used during initial installation to locate and weld in the mounting blocks as shown in the drawing above. Once the blocks are installed it is only necessary to remove/replace capping strips as necessary.
