The leading supplier to the global foundry industry, DISA, makes a commitment to its customers all over the world as a partner, who is committed to optimizing their customers’ performance and success through leading technology solutions.
GIFA 2003 was a great success for DISA with continuing worldwide interest in the fast, reliable and accurate DISA New Generation Vertical Moulding Machines and the wide range DISA Shot Blast Machines, which are known for their outstanding quality, high through feed rates and reliability, proven in hundreds of applications.
Technology sharpens competitive edge
“Since GIFA ’99, the promise of superior competitive benefits from our New Generation moulding technology has now been proved beyond a doubt with more than 100 machines sold worldwide,” says Per Ejdorf, Vice President, Sales and Marketing. “As a consequence, many foundries have asked us inside to take a critical look at their foundry lines with a view to further enhancement of their performance and processes.”
DISA has carried out projects for foundries, which included moulding line, sand preparation, core management, sand cooling and shuttle conveyor solutions as well as a wide range of shot blast equipment for many different types of castings.
Commitment to performance
“It is no secret that DISA is recognized as a supplier with a worldwide network and who is dedicated not only during the sale, but for the entire lifetime of the equipment,” Per Ejdorf continues. “But equipment and technology are only part of the story. Foundries are asking for a closer relationship with a supplier, who can deliver everything they need to take up the challenge of global competition.”
This was the reason why DISA TOPS was introduced at GIFA 2003. DISA TOPS is a service and maintenance programme where DISA optimizes the installed DISA equipment, provides maintenance and spare parts supply services and adopts a proactive to foundry performance. More than 70 foundries around the world are now reaping the benefits of DISA TOPS.
Commit > Lead > Succeed
“Since GIFA 2003, our connections with foundries around the world have become even closer, resulting in remarkable productivity and quality improvements compared with the standards of just a few years ago,” Per Ejdorf explains. “We have built on this experience, aligning our own technology research and development to the evolving needs of a wide range of different foundries.”
Over the last two years, DISA have invested significant resources in its global presence to gain a closer relation with foundries as part of its commitment as a single supplier. “Our motto for GIFA 2007 – COMMIT > LEAD > SUCCEED – expresses our determination as the leading global supplier to stand by our customers and join them in ensuring their success,” Per Ejdorf states.
DISA at GIFA 2007
Per Ejdorf is very tight-lipped about what DISA will be showing at GIFA 2007. But one thing is for sure, foundries will be able to gain some valuable new insights into how a combination of supplier commitment, leading technology and applications expertise can result in remarkable productivity improvements with short payback times and high returns on investment.
