DISA INTRODUCES DISA TOPS TO HELP FOUNDRIES OPTIMIZE THEIR PRODUCTION AND PROFITS

DISA TOPS is a personalized service dedicated to continuous improvement for foundries using DISA Moulding Machines. Based on the four cornerstones of DISA Customer Service – Spare Parts, Training, Service and Applications – DISA TOPS helps foundries to customize and optimize solutions to improve performance across the board.

DISA TOPS is conceptualized in the form of a pocket-sized folder containing owner-specific machine information as well as general information about DISA customer service, and a larger binder with detailed information about DISA moulding machines, service, training programmes and applications support.

DISA has in the beginning of December 04 sent out personal folders to many of its moulding machine customers together with personalized user names and passwords giving access to the Customer Service site at www.disagroup.com/cs. Customers in specific areas who have not yet received the personal folders will receive it in the beginning of 2005 together with the larger binder, which also will follow at the beginning of 2005.

DISA TOPS is designed to help DISA moulding machine customers in four ways:

  1. Free up tied capital and save costs by optimizing stocks of original DISA spare parts using special repair kits based on many years of experience gained in the field by DISA service and maintenance engineers.
  2. Sharpen competitive edge with high speed, higher uptime, lower maintenance costs and enhanced control.
  3. Get the most out of plant and equipment by increasing self-sufficiency through service and maintenance training for employees, and by bringing them up to date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  4. Move ahead of the pack with specialized production processes developed together with DISA applications engineers and DISA Research and Development.

DISA TOPS is also about a systematic approach to innovation by structuring and focusing creativity where it counts – on optimized castings processes that put orders in the books and revenues on the bottom line.
